For your consideration one Thomas RBRF#2 467 Merrill carbine bullet. See also Thomas RBRF#4 189. Notice the very compressed middle ring this variety has. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white that has a red clay red mixed with it. A mold seam can be seen & the solid base is smooth. Measures about 0.545 x 0.865 inches. A Knoxville relicman showed me a bullet exactly like this one & said he thinks this is a Confederate Merrill bullet. What do you think?
