For your consideration one Vicksburg rifle listed in Thomas RBRF4 bullet 287. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is an interesting white to a reddish brown color. A real nice patina. The cavity is a cone. Measures about 0.525 x 1.13 inches.

Notice the middle photo. Is it a set of eyes or nose holes? Both holes have dirt in them...I do not see an evidence from carving?? You be the judge.
