For your consideration one exploded nose section of a Parrott shell. I am told this is a 20-30 LB variety. The iron is smooth & clean all over...its ready to put on your desk right now. The fuse/fuse adaptor is still in the nose. This maybe a percussion fuse. Many of you out there will know a lot more about this fragment than I do. At the longest point this fragment measures about 5 1/2 inches long & weighs around 8 LBS.
