For your consideration one Albert’s CS7 Confederate Army Officer droop wing eagle button with a faint W DOWLER backmark. Tice lists as CS207A1 & comments difficult to find. The button front has excellent detail & probably 35-45% gold guilt. The feathers can be seen in the eagle’s breast & wings. Where there’s no gold guilt a mellow brown patina will be found. The hook is upright & strongly attached but spread open in the middle…see R photo. Back & front are firmly attached. A rare coat size button.
