For your consideration one McKee & Mason 428 For rifle bullet. M&M lists this bullet as Confederate. This bullet is near 100% covered with a thick deep woods dirt...just as dug.  The condition looks really nice & so does the patina. The nose is pointed, the cavity is a cone & a clear skirt cast mark can be seen...see cavity photo & look in the 12 o'clock position on the skirt. With a thick coating of dirt on it this bullet measures about 0.52 x 0.96 inches. Dug from the North GA area.
