For your consideration one Thomas RoundBall to RimFire Vol.4 # 528 Selma Arsenal Enfield. You will find this bullet in just as dug condition with a thick, deep woods dirt covering most of the bullet. A nice looking bullet. The patina will be a real nice white to light brown color if you decide to clean this bullet. A big bullet measuring about 0.565 x 1.075 inches. The cavity is a cone, more or less. I couldn't resist-I cleaned the cavity out with a tooth pick. The dry dirt quickly turned to a powdery dry dirt & some fell thru the pin at the base of the cavity (photo 3), into the nose of the bullet. It went in but it wouldn't come out! Now we have a strickly CS bullet-from a deep South arsenal-with a cavity void in the nose of this bullet. What could make it any better? Dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area.
