For your consideration one carved plug base Enfield bullet. This bullet reminds me of an animal’s mouth. The mouth has been carved down into the plug cavity itself….you can see this in the base photo. Here the soilder carved this precise narrow rectangle. Overall this piece is in very good dropped condition. Maybe they were tring to make a whistle?
