For your consideration one civil war bullet carved into a nipple protector for rifle. The condition is very nice dug condition with a brown patina. In the first & fifth photos you can see the long teat which actually fits inside the nipple itself. If a soldier had 25 rounds of ammo he had 1 or at most 2 nipple protectors. See all 5 photos.
