For your consideration one Confederate gutter back sword hanger. You will find this hanger to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a thick, lime green to plum colors. This type hanger had an iron spring closure on the back; which rusted away years ago. The 2 brass pins, which held the spring closure in place, can still be plainly seen..photos 1, 2, 5.
