For your consideration one 1862 STATE OF LOUISIANA $2 bill. The front & back show great detail. No tears, No pinholes. The front vignette shows a maiden holding key seated by Confederate shield with ships in distance. A recycled bill printed on the back of 2 CINCO (5) PECOS bills. The back vignette shows 2 Spanish hunters, with rifle, sitting beneath a large shade tree with a dog & a killed deer. Also notice the faint O N E overprint. A red O N E overprint on a $2 bill is not listed in my refrence book. According (Shull) this bill should be printed on the backs of Texas or New Orleans notes. Please excuse the glare from my camera flash. This bill has more of a mellow yellow tint to the paper.
