For your consideration one Thomas handbook 171A - McKee & Mason 392 Found in sites of Georgia troops bullet. A very crude bullet that's in excellent dug condition. The patina is mainly a brown color, with white to off white to a black stain of sorts. all mixed together. Better than my photo shows. I do not see a single patina chip. The nose is pointed & bullet grease can be seen dried in the rings...see all 4 bullet photos. Mold seams can be seen on both sides of this bullet. The skirt is THICK & the cavity is heavily ECCENTRIC. The cavity is shallow & the teat is a big one! Dirt can be seen in the cavity. Measures about 0.575 x  1.14 inches...compare those measurements to both M&M & Thomas. Pretty much a dead on match. Dug from the Gaines Mill, Virginia area.  These days its hard to find a bullet that is as just out of the ground as this bullet is.  See all 5 photos.
