For your consideration one confederate droop wing eagle button. Albert lists as CS22 & Tice CS257A1. A coat size button in very good dug condition. Good detail to the front…a very fine lined background & stars around the outside edge can be seen. The eagle may have a very small push to its breast. The front & back are strongly attached. The back is blank with a wide depressed channel…just as Tice lists. Tice also lists believed to have been made by Casimir Rouyer a New Orleans button manufacture. The hook is strongly attached & bent over.
