For your consideration one dot (.) 57 base marked Enfield bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellence dug condition. The patina is a very slick, waxy white color & I do not see a single patina chip...my guess bullet was made from high quality lead. Made in England & ran the harbor blockades to see the ACW firsthand?? See Photo 3: shows an impressed line in the side of this bullet. At the arsenal when lead & paper cartridge first came together the paper is impressed into the side of the lead bullet to aid in a uniform removal of paper from lead when using the cartridge in the field. Very nice capped nose. Measures about 0.57 x 1.07 inches.
