For your consideration one McKee & Mason 428 Confederate For rifle bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a slick light brown color…a near perfect patina. Notice the U shaped 3 rings & the cavity is a cone with a tiny flat tip to the cone. The nose cast mark has been nipped off blunt. Also notice the interrupted pour mark this bullet has. This pour mark goes all the way around this bullet. *An interrupted pour is a bullet almost poured to completion, ran out of molten lead & completed at a later time. There is a spot of rust on this bullet & appears this bullet layed next to a piece of iron for years while in the ground. Measures about 0.525 x 0.94 inches.
