For your consideration one McKee & Mason #586 Confederate nose cast bullet. You will find this ball to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a slick brown color. Notice the extra large nose cast mark…just like the bullet listed in M&M. The 3 rings are all crisp & well defined. Mold seams can be seen on both sides of this bullet. NOTICE in left photo a faint interrupted pour mark (looks like a cold pour mark) can be seen just below the nose cast mark. The cavity is a mix between a cone & round tip cone (M&M cavity type 2 or 4). Measures about 0.575 x 1.135 inches.
