For your consideration one McKee & Mason 68 British Sharps bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a slick black to white color. I do not see a single patina chip. The nose is blunt & the one ring is well defined. The skirt is exxtra thick & the cavity is a small plug. Notice at the base of the small cavity a raised teat can be seen. Dug from the Corinth/Shiloh area.

If you are lucky enough to own a copy of Tom Stelma's Some Civil War Bullets 2 see bullets 02-089 & 02-090.  French Sharps. Stelma states The French occupied Mexico during our Civil War & traded freely with the Confederate forces in South Texas.  Stelma also lists bullets 02-091 & 02-092 as British Sharps & both are similar to the bullet 68 listed in McKee & Mason & to the bullet I have listed. Thanks Greg for your input into this bullet.
