For your consideration one Wiard Rifle lead cannister shot in fired condition. This cannister shot in unfired condition measured about 0.85 inches. In the first photo you see 3 fairly large flat spots on the ball. In the cannister round this ball was laying against 3 other balls & when fired these flat spots occur. In the middle photo you see 2 of the 3 flat spots & the small white spot at top of this cannister ball is the sprue mark. In the last photo you see the backside of this ball which is the least deformed. The Wiard rifle fired a 2.6 inch cannister round, it was used in very few places & are scarce as hens teeth.
