Here’s a hard bullet to identify. Listed in Stanley Phillips BULLETS USED In the Civil War #135 C.S. rifle Teat in base. If this bullet is listed else where someone please let me know. A 6 ring bullet with a teat inside the cavity. Looks kinda like a MM413 GA Troops bullet but it is not or a MM454 but its not. The condition is excellent dug with a splotchy white patina. Notice the out of center cavity. Measures about 0.52 x 1.03 inches. Bullet is labeled C.S. 52 CAL. RIFLE TEAT BASE CORINTH MAURYS DIV. + 3N 4-20-68 From the John Marks collection. Brig. General Dabney Maury CSA was heavily involved at the Battle at Corinth, Mississippi. Its not often you can own a minute of history.
