For your consideration one very old Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce bottle. You will find this bottle to be in excellent condition. The color is light green just like in the photo shown to the right. The bottle is embossed LEA & PERRINS vertically & horizontal WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE. Several air bubble can be seen in the glass. Great detail & a very clean bottle. Shipping with $50 insurance is $10. Found in the Wilmington/Ft Fisher, NC area. In the early part of the 1800’s people made their condiments at home. In the 1830’s Lea & Perrins began selling their Worcestershire sauce in England & had great success. By 1840 L & P was being imported into the US & it was successful here also. These bottles have been found in civil war trash pits.
