For your consideration one Merrill Carbine lock plate. I am told this is for the second model Merrill. Great condition with a smooth finish. Lock plate is marked Merrill, July 1858, May 21-28-61, 7698 (serial number I think), 7 over 85 (I think). There are other markings I cannot make out. About 5 1/4 inches long. Shipping is $5.00. A barn find just outside of Jonesboro, Tenn. (Tennessee’s oldest city)
