This bullet is SOLD.  For your consideration one Confederate Enfield bullet listed in Thomas RBRF4 as 285. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a thick, slick, waxy feelin', brownish white color...a near perfect patina. A nose cast mark can be plainly seen (photo 2)  & just below the nose cast mark a raised ring can be seen 360 degrees around the nose. In photo 3 a skirt cast mark (lip cast mark) can be seen on the bullet's skirt see the 12 o'clock position...with the bullet in hand the skirt cast mark is much easier to see. The cavity is a cone. Measures about 0.54 x 0.995 inches. Dug from the North Georgia area.   This bullet is SOLD.
