For your consideration one solid cast brass 1850 Musicians sword handle in dug, partially melted condition. The wound wire pattern going around the handle has a lot of detail. The patina is a real nice deep green color...much of this handle is still covered with dirt. At the base of the handle (top of photos 1, 2, 3), where the pomel once fit, lathing marks can be seen. Still retains most of its original shape...see photo 4. About 3 inches long.
