For your consideration one lead nipple protector for a Civil War rifle. You will find this protector to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice brown color. A large teat (which fits inside the nipple) can be easily seen. Dug from the North Georgia area. If a soldier had 25 rounds of ammo he had 1 or at most 2 nipple protectors. See all 5 photos.
