For your consideration one McKee & Mason 392 - Thomas handbook 171A Southern manufacture...a massive 0.58 caliber bullet. A crude bullet from birth that you will find to be in excellent dug condition. This patina a real nice, light white color. Both mold seams can be seen & the cavity is a thick, eccentric, plug type with a BIG FAT teat at the base of the cavity. Measures about 0.575 x 1.11 inches.

On this bullet you can see a black stain on the nose, parts of two rings & the base has quite a bit. To me it looks like this bullet has laied in its own black powder.
