For your consideration one McKee & Mason 486 - Thomas handbook 62 Wesson bullet. The bullet listed in Thomas has base erosion from the base of the bullet & black powder being in contact with each other for years...inside a brass hull. This is a rare display bullet...one side good & one side not so good. See photo 1 & 2 & make sure you see photo 3 so you can see how the base of this bullet is suppose to look. Measures about 0.43 x 0.725 inches. By the way bullet 486 in M&M is mislabeled a Ballard. 

This is a late war bullet many collections will not have.
