TL7592

For your consideration one 54 gauge revolver, Kerr listed in Thomas RBRF4 as bullet 59. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice light white color...I do not see a single patina chip (this is a nice bullet). Both rings & the bottom 3rd ring are all well defined. Solid base is smooth. Measures about 0.45 x 0.665 inches. Best of all dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area.

Kerr revolvers were manufactured by London Armoury Company in England, for 6 years (1859-66). LAC became so dependent on sales to the Confederacy they ceased operations less than 1 year after the end of the American Civil War. At this time a Kerr revolver could be purchased for $18 - $25 dollars.
