For your consideration one McKee & Mason 12 - Thomas handbook 128 Harpers Ferry Slug. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white color, partially covered with dirt & I do not see a single patina chip. The nose is pointed & a raised base cast mark can be seen. Measures about 0.535 x 0.77 inches. Dug from the Petersburg, Virginia area.
Thomas states This is the elongated ball for the Mississippi rifle cast in moulds fabricated before the war at Harpers Ferry. Used by the Confederates.
