For your consideration one Thomas RBRF4 bullet 254 Confederate 3 ring bullet, You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a flawless, splotchy light white color. Both mold seams can be seen in photo 1 & 2. Notice the very elongated nose, 3 shallow cast rings, a heavily out of center (eccentric) cavity. The cavity is a fairly deep parabolic...all of these bullets are just like that. Measures about 0.525 x 1.025 inches. Dug from the N GA area.

Danny Spencer shared this info with me. In McKee & Mason bullet 409...see notes opposite page found in diameter .520, cavity 11-3(parabolic). Is this a 0.54 caliber little brother to a M&M 409?        Thomas RBRF4 lists bullet 254 as Conical cavity. I ask typo or mistake?
