For your consideration one counterfeit coin made into a button..a soldier has to do what a soldier does. The coin is just a tad thicker than a nickel. Looks like they poured too much metal into their crude mold. Around the edges, in a couple of places, you can see where the metal tried to squirt out..photo 2-six o'clock position. Looks like zinc to me. There is a very slight bend to this coin/button. The bend is right thru the middle (right thru the 2 holes). This was used as a button. Dug from the North Georgia area.
