For your consideration one Thomas RoundBall to RimFire Vol 4 bullet 252 Mississippi rifle bullet.You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice tan color. The cavity is essentric & a casting void can be seen at the base of the cone cavity. Notice the pointed nose. Measures about 0.53 x 0.985 inches. Thomas considers this bullet to be of Confederate orgin. A Mississippi rifle was a Model 1841 rifle produced at the Harpers Ferry arsenal. First used effectively during the Mexican War by a group of Mississippi volunteers…hence the Mississippi rifle.
