In all the years I have been listing civil war bullets this is the 2nd time I have listed a McKee & Mason 540 Williams cleaner Type III. You will find this bullet in excellent dug condition with the zinc rifle barrel scouring device complete & undamaged...a rare bird! The patina is almost completely covered with dirt. The nose cast sprue is well defined as are the 2 rings. Measures about 0.575 x 0.91 inches. About as nice as you will find except...dug in an old forest area from the Corinth - Shiloh area.
