Many civil war era revolver bullet molds will cast 2 projectiles: a round ball & a bullet. This is true for 0.44 caliber, 0.36 caliber & 0.32 caliber. Its also true for 0.28 caliber. For sale are two 0.28 caliber projectiles, one round ball with uncut sprue & a bullet. Both are in excellent dug condition. Both bullets have white patinas & I do not seen a single patina chip. I have had one other 0.28 caliber round ball & it had a square sprue just like this one does. The ball measures about 0.28 x 0.365(includes the uncut sprue) & the bullet measures about 0.27 x 0.435 inches. Best of all both were dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area.
