SOLD For your consideration one McKee & Mason 140, in the cartridge section, Gaupillat - Self Contained bullet. The condition is excellent. This is the european version of a Volcanic. In 20+ years of bullet trading this is the third one of these I have had & the first one to have the copper cup in the base.  hollow bullet with an inverted percussion cap inserted in the hollow. Manufactured from 1854 till somewhere around 1870 (civil war era). A quick google search & you can see what I saw. Measures about 0.385 (9mm) x 0.525 inches. SOLD
