SOLD I have seen many carved nipple protectors before but this is the crudest, most unique nipple protector I have seen. For your consideration one whole Enfield bullet that has been used as a nipple protector. You are seeing the rifle's hammer mark on both sides of this bullet...front side & back side of this bullet.  This bullet has a very pointed nose & a nose cast mark that can be plainly seen. Dirt remains on this bullet & inside of the cavity. Over all a very crudely made Enfield bullet. Most interesting trait is inside the plug type cavity a raised teat can be seen. I call this a Confederate bullet. What could make this bullet any better? Dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area. SOLD
