For your consideration one 0.54 caliber round ball intended For single shot-pistol. Mainly Model 1842 flint lock pistols converted to percussion fire. Several were used during the ACW. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a smooth white to light brown color...dirt is still on the ball...I do not see a single patina chip. The sprue mark can be easily seen..photo 1, 2 & 3.  Measures about 0.525 inches. Dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area. See Thomas RBRF4 ball 97 & 98. Also intended for Hall's rifle, Mississippi rifle, etc. This ball would have been in a cartridge like-TL8370.
