For your consideration one Thomas handbook 61 Self contained rimfire cartridge for Ballard "new model" carbine or rifle bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white color. Notice the first ring with a distinct upward slope.  In the Handbook this groove is filled with dirt & this characteristic cannot be seen. The top ring is a regular ole ring. What some may be calling the bottom ring is where the brass hull one fit. Sort of a STOP so the hull could go no further upon the bullet.  Remember for what ever reason this bullet was removed from its hull. The solid base is smooth. Measures about 0.44 x 0.655 inches.
