For your consideration one McKee & Mason 12 - Thomas handbook 128 elongated ball for the Mississippi rifle..fabricated before the war at Harpers Ferry arsenal. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a mixed white to light white color & I do not see a single patina chip. The nose is pointed & on the solid base a real nice base cast sprue pinch mark can be seen. The raised pinch mark causes this bullet to sit at an angle when sitting on a level surface..see photo 1. Measures about 0.535 x 0.77 inches.
