For your consideration one Thomas Roundball to RimFire Vol.4 bullet 481 - 482. A crude bullet that's in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white to light brown colors. Notice the rounded/pointed nose point & an shallow cone cavity with a step at the base. Measures about 0.57 x 1.165 inches. I have no dig location one this bullet. 

Refer to your handy NSTCW Vol 37 No. 4/2013. Western Bullets. A must have! These  rather crude bullets are quite tall, often exceeding 1.15'' in heigth. The bases of many specimens are uneven, causing the bullets to appear slanted when sitting upright. See photo 4. See all 4 photos.

Meigs Brainard stated: with pointed noses & shallow cavities. associated with Native American troops of General Samuel B. Maxey. the least frequently encountered of the Trans-Missippi Enfields.
