For your consideration one brass civil war era spur. Listed in Historic American Spurs as CS18. most common of all western theater spurs. product of one or more of the deep south arsenals. The condition is excellent. The brass has an aged, mellow brass color. Probably an attic or barn find. The iron rowel turns freely. Some arsenal grinding marks can be seen. The leather is pliable & in great condition too.
