For your consideration one McKee & Mason 197 Slanting breech Sharps bullet. You will find this bullet to be in very good to excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white color. Both raised bands are crisp & notice the point to the bullet’s nose. Measures about 0.43 x 0.705 inches. Thomas notes this was a civilian pattern rifle which was hustled into civil war usage.
