For your consideration one McKee & Mason 409 confederate 3 ring bullet with a small plug cavity. Notice this bullet has a long cut nose cast sprue. You will find this bullet to be in very good to excellent dug condition. The patina is as shown…an orangish brown, white to grey colors all mixed together & I do not see a single patina chip. The patina has that slick waxy feelin’ to it & makes it shiny & hard to photograph. The left photo faintly shows where the nose sprue was long cut off…with bullet in hand this is easy to see. Measures about 0.56 x 1.125 inches. This bullet is know to many collectors as a Fayetteville, North Carolina arsenal bullet. The cool factor is high on this bullet!
