For your consideration one McKee & Mason 298/299 – Thomas handbook 137B Nashville Arsenal and is sidecast. The sidecast mark can be easily seen in my photo. This bullet has had the bottom ring removed leaving 1/2 of the cone cavity intact. I rate this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a great white color & I do not see a single patina chip. An example of Confederate artistic work or just boredom? Maybe a chess piece? You be the judge. What could make it any better? Dug from the Corinth/Shiloh area.
