For your consideration one partially melted 0.69 caliber Prussion bullet…a camp fire bullet. One side of this bullet looks like a Prussion & the backside & cavity shows signs of being partially melted. Very nice white patina. Think about it the quickest way to start a camp fire is to remove a cartridge from your cartridge box. Rip the paper from the lead bullet & pour the gunpowder on to your kindling. Strike a match. Instant fire. Now what do you do with a bullet with no gunpowder? Just drop it into the edge of your fire. That’s a camp fire bullet.
