For your consideration one McKee & Mason 499 Old pattern colt - Thomas handbook 7A bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a slick white color & I do not see a single patina chip. Mold seams can be seen on both sides of this bullet. A rebated base is easy to see, the solid base is smoooth & a base cast mark can be seen.  Measures about 0.38 x 0.62 inches. Dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area.

Just above the rebated base ring a pocket knife cut mark can be seen all the way around this bullet. Thomas states on this bullet type a knife cut around the bullet where the cartridge paper was trimmed can sometimes be seen.
