For your consideration one Mississippi rifle bullet listed in Thomas RBRF4 as bullet 252. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white color & I do not see a single patina chip. The 3 rings are crisp & well defined & still have some of the original bullet grease in them. Mold seams can be seen on both sides. Notice the very thick skirt & a small cone cavity that's out of center (eccentric) to the base of this bullet. With the bullet in hand a faint skirt cast mark can be seen. Traces of black powder can be seen on the bullet's skirt & inside of the cavity. Measures about 0.53 x 0.985 inches. Dug from the N GA area.
