For your consideration one 3-grooved elongated ball..Mississippi Rifle bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a near perfect, light brown color & has a slick waxy feel to it. Notice the heavily eccentric cone cavity..photo 2. Measures about 0.525 x 0.995 inches. Dug from the North Georgia area. See Thomas RBRF4 bullet 252..there were quite a few variations to this bullet.  See all 4 photos. 

A Mississippi rifle bullet is 0.54 caliber. Many Austrian Lorenz rifles found service in the Confederate ranks.
