For your consideration one Thomas RBRF4 254, more or less, 3-grooved elongated ball on the Minie principal bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a slick black color with a white patina in the grooves. In 3 of the photos what looks to me to be some of the original bullet grease can be seen. May be the cause of this whitish patina? And...I do not see a single patina chip. A few cold pour marks can be seen. All 3 rings are shallow & the cavity is paraboloidal, more or less.  See all 5 photos. Measures about 0.525 x 1.00. Mr. Danny Spencer (one Georgia peach) once told me to go to you McKee & Mason book & see bullet 409 & then see the notes on the opposite page. Found in diameter .520, length .980, weight 376, and cavity 11-3 (Paraboloidal). Could this be son of 409? I can still hear ya Dano.
