For your consideration one McKee & Mason 551 buck and ball fused together (cartridge) bullet. This is a lightly-partially melted bullet. Condition?? Excellent partially melted condition. Patina?? A real nice patina-see photos. Photo 5 you can see where a small amount of the 0.69 caliber ball melted & ran down between the buck (3 smaller) balls-notice this once molten lead now has an exxtra nice, white patina (photo 3). All 4 pieces of lead are tightly fused together. Truly a rare bird.    See all 5 photos.  

Keep in mind its cold & raining & now after dark. Need a fire fast. Gun powder from the cartridge in your box will make a fire faster. Add sticks & gunpowder & now you have a fire. Feelin' much warmer-pitch the now useless lead bullets in the camp fire or close to it.
