Confederate Spur-Very Nice ~ TL8093 $140
For your consideration one CS4 Confederate spur, Crouch & Baird's books, unbreakable. You will find this spur to be in excellent non dug condition. The patina is an aged, mellow brass color - excuse the glare from my camera flash in some photos. A heavy built spur. The outside is nicely polished & rounded. The inside shows little to no polish, minor casting flaws (character) & several file/grinding marks. The rowel seems original, firmly nailed into place...I saw this near-exact rowel listed in Baird's. Just over 5 inches long. See all 8 photos.
